Apr 9, 2018 | In 2018 a group of journalism and television production students went to Puerto Rico six months after Hurricane Maria to report on the damage and the recovery of the island. The half hour Montclair NewsLab Special Report - Hurricane Recovery: Mission to Puerto Rico went on to win a prestigious Murrow Award for journalism and two Student Television Awards from the Television Academy Foundation.
