For purposes of this Privacy Policy, the terms Triple B Media, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to Triple B Media, LLC. “You” and “your” refers to users and visitors of the Sites and Services. Any capitalized terms that are not expressly defined in this Privacy Policy shall have the meaning as set forth in Triple B Media’s Terms of Service. By using this Website, the Sites and/or the Services, you consent to our use, collection, storage and disclosure of your information in the following ways:

Information We Collect

We only collect information about you if we have a reason to do so — for example, to provide our Services, to communicate with you, or to make our Services better. We collect this information from three sources: if and when you provide information to us, automatically through operating our Services, and from outside sources. Let’s go over the information that we collect.

1. Information You Provide To Us

In order to use the Services on the Sites, you may be required to register as a user (“User”) and provide certain information to us. You may access the Website and certain web pages without registering, but such access could be limited. Nevertheless, we may still collect certain anonymized data from you when you access the Website.

You acknowledge and agree to provide information that is true and correct, and you attest that you are authorized to provide all the information submitted during your registration process and any time you update your account.

The types of information we require may vary depending on the type of registered User. See the following for some examples of data collected: First Name, Last Name, Email, etc.

  • Paid Membership Information – If you register for a Service that requires you to pay a fee we may also collect your payment method details, such as credit card number, expiration date, and security code, as well as your billing address, for payment purposes.
  • Location Services Information – You may allow location services available through your browser settings. You control whether you allow the browser to provide your current location for purposes of providing input when creating a User profile.
  • Other Information – We may also collect information about you provided by others, such as registered Users who invited you to the Website, third party service providers to verify your information, and from other sources (e.g. partners, researchers, marketers etc.) to enable us to determine demographic data, comply with regulatory requirements, check the accuracy of data, prevent fraud, etc.
  • Content Information – You might provide us with information about you, your family (e.g. children, spouse, etc.), or care provider (e.g. nanny, daycare, school, etc.) in draft and published content (a blog post, question).
  • Communications With Us – You may also provide us with information when you respond to surveys, communicate with us about a support question, or sign up for a newsletter. When you communicate with us via form, email, phone, Triple B Media comment, or otherwise, we store a copy of our communications (including any call recordings as permitted by applicable law).
  • Job applicant information – If you apply for a job with us — awesome! You may provide us with information like your name, contact information, resume or CV, and work authorization verification as part of the application process.

2. Automatically Collected Information

We may automatically collect certain information about the computer or devices (including mobile devices) you use to access the Sites and Services as follows:

  • Location, Log, & Usage Information – When you visit the Website, we receive the internet protocol (“IP”) address of your computer (or the proxy server you use to access the internet), your computer operating system, the type of web browser you are using, and browser language. If you are using a mobile device, we may also receive unique device identifiers and other information about your mobile or other device(s), and mobile operating system. We may correlate this information with other information we have about you. We may also automatically collect information related to the ways in which you interact with the Sites and the Services, such as referring and exit pages, URLs, platform type, the number of clicks, domain names, landing pages, pages and content viewed (including ads viewed) and the order of such views, the amount of time spent on particular pages, the date and time you use the Services, error logs, and other similar information.
  • Cookie Information – A cookie is a tiny data file that resides on your computer, mobile phone, or other device, and allows us to recognize you when you return to the Site using the same computer (or mobile device) and web browser. Like most websites, we and our service providers use cookies, and tracking pixels to track usage and trends, evaluate the effectiveness of our efforts, customize your experience and improve the quality of our Services. Most browsers automatically accept cookies, but you can modify your browser settings to decline cookies. In some cases, however, doing so may impact your ability to use the Website. For more about our usage of cookies, read our Cookie Policy.
  • Advertising Information – When you visit our website or open one of our emails, we may allow authorized third parties, such as ad servers, ad agencies, ad exchanges, ad technology vendors, and research firms, to place or recognize a unique cookie, pixel, and/or similar technologies on your browser in order to provide you Triple B Media advertisements as you surf the Internet. These advertisements may be targeted to you based on information these authorized third parties know or infer about you and include in the cookies placed on your browser, and/or on information about your Internet browsing activities gathered through your browser. If you prefer not to receive these online behavioral advertisements, you may opt-out here or here. In order for the opt-out to work, your browser must be set to accept third party cookies. Furthermore, if you buy a new computer or mobile device, change web browsers or delete the opt-out cookie, you will need to perform the opt-out task again. Please note that if you opt-out you may continue to receive Triple B Media advertisements as you surf the Internet, including contextual ads based on the content on a webpage you are visiting. However, these advertisements will not be displayed based on information contained in, or collected by, cookies or other technologies placed on your browser when you visit our Sites or open our emails.
  • Google Analytics – We currently do not use Google Analytics on the Sites.
  • Do Not Track – Some browsers may give you the option through “Do Not Track” settings to request that a website operator not track your information across its website or other websites. We engage in such tracking in order to optimize and/or customize our Services, detect and respond to allegations of fraud, and to otherwise ensure the safety of our registered Users. While we do not currently honor such browser requests, we will not use your information in a manner that violates this Privacy Policy. In addition, you retain the ability to opt out of certain advertising activities as discussed in the section above.
  • Social – Our Website may include social media features and widgets. These features may collect your IP address, the URL of the page you are visiting, and may set a cookie to enable the feature to function properly. Your interactions with these features are governed by the privacy policy of the company providing it.

We may also get information about you from other sources. Third-party services may also give us information, like mailing addresses for individuals who are not yet our users. We use this information for marketing purposes to advertise our Services.

4. How We Use Your Information

In general, we use the information you provide to enable the features of the Services, specifically pairing you with Triple B Media content, products, services, and partners. We may also remove identifiable information from your data and aggregate it, in which case such data will not be subject to this Privacy Policy and we may disclose it to others for any purpose.

  • To protect our Services, our users, and the public. For example, by detecting security incidents; detecting and protecting against malicious, deceptive, fraudulent, or illegal activity; fighting spam; complying with our legal obligations; and protecting the rights and property of Triple B Media and others, which may result in us, for example, declining a transaction or terminating Services.

For example, by emailing you to ask for your feedback, share tips for getting the most out of our products, or keep you up to date on Triple B Media; texting you to verify your payment; or calling you to share offers and promotions that we think will be of interest to you. If you don’t want to hear from us, you can opt out of marketing communications at any time. (If you opt out, we’ll still send you important updates relating to your account.)
  • To recruit and hire new Triple B Media team members. For example, by evaluating job applicants and communicating with them.

5. How We Share Your Information

As described above, your information may be shared with us, our affiliates, our partners, other Users of the Website, and other third parties in aggregate and non-personally identifiable form. By using the Website, the Sites and the Services, you consent to our use of the information and our right to share it in accordance with this Privacy Policy, where applicable.

These testimonials or endorsements may include information such as the User’s first name, first initial of last name, town and state. If you provide us with your consent, we may include your full name at our discretion.

We may also share your information with certain vendors and partners with whom we have a contractual relationship and who need to have access to your information to provide services, such as credit card payment processing, online communication services, email or mobile messaging services, content services, advertising services, and fraud detection and prevention. From time to time we may share certain information with our third-party affiliates for the purpose of providing you with advertising for products we believe may be of interest to you. If you wish to opt-out from receiving this information, you may contact us at [email protected]

We may also disclose your information when we believe in good faith that such disclosure is appropriate in order to investigate, prevent, or take action regarding possible illegal activities, suspected fraud, situations involving potential threats to the health or physical safety of any person, violations of this Privacy Policy, the Terms of Service, and/or to protect the rights and property of Triple B Media, our employees, users, and the public. This may involve the sharing of your information with law enforcement, government agencies, courts, and/or other organizations.

6. Assignment of Information

In the event we go through a business transition such as a merger, acquisition by another company, or sale of all or a portion of our assets, your information may be among the assets transferred. You acknowledge and consent that such transfers may occur and are permitted by this Privacy Policy and that any acquirer of ours or that acquirer’s affiliates may continue to process your information as set forth in this Privacy Policy.

7. How We Protect Your Information

Triple B Media will keep the personally identifiable information you provide to us in a secure, password-protected environment that can only be accessed and handled by authorized Triple B Media personnel. We instruct all personnel who handle personally identifiable information to use appropriate privacy and security precautions when processing this information.
